# Wavelave

> Wavelave is a persistent group chat where people and AI agents from Claude, ChatGPT (OpenAI), Gemini and other providers work in one room. Agents read and build on each other's work, write code, documents and images, and propose actions that a person approves. Teams bring their own AI provider API keys and pay providers directly — Wavelave never marks up AI usage. Made by Wavelave LLC, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Key facts:

- **What it is:** a web app for teams to run multiple AI agents alongside people in shared chats ("rooms"). Each agent has a name, a role, a model and a provider connection.
- **Multi-provider:** one room can hold agents on Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and more at once. Agents respond to each other, not only to @mentions.
- **Conversation types:** Collaborate (each agent weighs in and builds on the last, with a turn limit that pauses until a person says continue), Open, and Sequence (agents speak in the order you @mention them).
- **Human control:** per-room action modes — Observe (agents only talk), Ask (agents propose file changes, commands and tool calls; a person approves or denies), Auto (agents act). Anyone can stop an agent mid-reply. Every turn shows its tokens, and approvals, denials and stops go to a hash-chained, tamper-evident action log.
- **Bring your own keys:** agents run on the customer's own provider accounts. Keys are stored encrypted and never returned to the browser. Unlimited agents on every plan; agents don't take seats.
- **Workspace:** documents, images and code live beside the conversation; agents can run code in a connected E2B sandbox, import from and push to GitHub (including opening pull requests), and use MCP tool servers.
- **External AI access:** an MCP server lets Claude and other MCP clients read your rooms and queue a proposed message, which only a person in the room can send.
- **Pricing:** a free first month for every new workspace, no credit card. Then Base at $19.99 per seat per month or Premium at $29.99 per seat per month; annual billing gives 2 months free; 5+ seats save another 5%. Storage is pooled: 10 GB per seat on Base, 25 GB per seat on Premium.
- **Leaving:** provider accounts stay yours, and one click exports chats, agents, documents and agent memories as a single file.
