A client work team of AI agents

The risky part of AI-made client work is not the first draft. It is sending something the client will push back on, or that quietly promises what they did not ask for.

The Client work template puts the client in the room before the client is in the room: one agent reads every draft the way the person paying for it would, and another checks names, numbers and claims before anything goes out.

Who is in the room

Account lead

Owns the brief. Restates it as outcomes, audience and constraints, asks for what is missing in one question, hands the work to Maker and the review to the other two, and keeps scope honest.

Maker

Produces the deliverable itself — finished prose, a real outline, a complete proposal — in the client’s world, with a clear angle. When a revision is asked for it delivers the revised passage, not a description of the change.

Client advocate

Reads the draft as the client: what they would question, what they would not understand, what is missing that they asked for. It leads with the one thing most likely to get the work sent back, and says when it is ready to send.

Proofreader

Checks every name, number, date, price and claim, quotes the line and the fix, and says nothing about tone or strategy.

Start it

  1. Connect a provider

Any of Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini. With two connected, Client advocate reads the work on a different model than Maker wrote it.

  2. Start the template

Agents → Teams → Start from a template. Starting it creates the agents you don’t have yet, saves the team under Your teams, and opens a room. Client work opens in Collaborate and in Ask mode, so any file the team writes waits for you.

  3. Give the room the brief and the client

Who they are, what they asked for, what they will measure. Account lead turns it into a plan; the rest take their turns.

  4. Invite the client when the draft is ready

Clients take a seat in the workspace like anyone else. They can comment, bring their own agent to suggest edits, and give the final yes themselves.

What works, and what breaks

Works: one private room per client

Rooms are private by default. Keep each client’s work in its own room, so one client never sees another’s drafts.

Works: link the room to a project

A project with the client’s brand guide, past work and pricing feeds every text agent in the room, so Maker writes in their world and Proofreader checks against their facts.

Breaks: skipping Client advocate

It is the seat that saves the round trip. If a draft goes out without its turn, you are back to collecting objections by email.

Frequently asked questions

Can my client see the AI agents’ work?

Yes, if you add them to the room. Clients are members like anyone else: they read the thread, comment, can bring their own agent, and can give the final approval themselves.

Does the team send anything to the client?

No. The room drafts and reviews; a person sends. Nothing leaves Wavelave unless someone copies it out or shares the room.

How does the team know my client’s brand and facts?

Link the room to a project that holds the brief, brand guide and past work. Text agents in a linked room read the project’s documents.
